Family Holiday Travel Tips

Going away this Easter season? Packing is a very important part of any trip. Spend a substantial amount of time making sure that wherever you go, you pack the following:

Make copies of your itinerary, put copies in all of you luggage. I once lost a bag at the airport and it was found a few hours because I had made copies my flight times and travel so the person who took it by mistake was kind enough to return it to the airport. Also make sure you keep your passport and other forms of identification safe. In the event that you lose your identity documents, report it to your embassy and produce copies.

Toiletries are extremely important! Make sure you bring your own tooth paste, soap, body wash, tooth brush, deodorant.  Grab your own extension cord. Plugs in different area all operate very different so bring something that accommodates your electrical appliances.

Keep a small first aid kit wherever you go, safety is extremely important and you may do more harm to yourself by unnecessarily sitting in a  waiting room at a foreign hospital. Remember that language may be a barrier where ever you go thus it makes sense to keep a first aid kit with you.

Happy packing, remember not to pack a lot of clothes and enjoy your family holiday.
